The First Ever Inaugural redecoration ceremony of Sri Maha Bodhi Ranweta
The Inaugural ceremony of newly refurbished Ranweta ofJayasri Maha Bodhi at Anuradhapura was held on 11th May, 2019. The surface of each and every parts of the Ranweta (Golden fence) and the other related decorative items were garnished with a thick layer of gold plating, by the use of technological advancement thus extending its life time for 50 years under the precious guidance of Atamasthanadhipathi Most Venerable Dr. Pallegama Siriniwasa Nayake Thero, the Chief Incumbent of Sri Maha Bodhi.This meritorious task was made possible with the generous donation from Vishwa Paramee Foundation.
